Dear loyal blog readers,

We are back at it again, ready for another European adventure.  We promised ourselves that once returning to the US we would travel within our own country more, well needless to say that has not happened and we had an itch to travel abroad again… so here we go, to Iceland!  It took a little bit of convincing, but after showing me YouTube videos of couples who had traveled throughout Iceland, I was hooked.  We made, what was a rash decision for us, to book tickets and we leave in a short 2 days.  We depart this Friday, connecting in Minneapolis (with wonderful airport restaurant suggestions from the well traveled Kelly Moore), landing in Reykjavik on Saturday morning. 

I am just a little stressed as to how this is going to go, while we have mapped out what we want to see, we don’t necessarily have mapped out how to get there.  I am praying that the wi fi device that I rented helps out with that, otherwise I am worried that I will need to hit the 112 emergency app that I downloaded on my phone last night.

We have rented a Sleep N Drive SUV and will be driving the Ring Road, and camping our way through Iceland.  After seven straight days in a car together, camping out of it, I pray that we both come back alive 🙂  I have heard nothing but amazing things about Iceland, so I can’t wait to share with everyone, please follow along with us as we embark on this adventure.
